1.     Module: Recognition and Development of Talent

The founders of family businesses often have definite ideas about how the successors should operate the business. From a gifted successor though, it is rarely expectable having full commitment towards the firm. The young and gifted leaders are usually committed to their work; they can be (easily) seduced by challenges coming from 'other directions'. In order for the talent to be able to evolve, foremost the principle ‘to be at the right time in the right place’ prevails. There is no talent for 'anywhere, anytime and for anything' but at the right time, under the right conditions and circumstances, the picked talented successor can evolve.
